We think we know,
say we recognize,
claim we have...
Passion.

"He is passionate," she said.
"She personifies passion," he says.
But, I always wondered until now,
what exactly is...

"Passion..."

Passion ... My physical, emotional, and mental needing of you, your touch.

Passion ... Partly closed, but oh so aware eyes;
flushed cheeks, burning ears, silken sweet salty tasting skin;
satin smooth neck tautly turned to lips lightly rasping.

Passion ... The fire of your tongue on my fingertips, your lips on my wrist;
the yearning of turgid nipples rising; the taste of your thighs.

Passion ... Tongue bathed bodies glistening hot;
the begging to be taken; the taking of what is offered... lovingly.

Passion ... Loins joined in thrusting celebration; muscles uncontrollably quivering;
bared shoulders being bitten, nails raking; the sound of release escaping.

Passion ... Swollen lips and dark satisfied eyes. The all-consuming fire
quenched for the moment til needs re-arise.

Passion ... The preciousness of the lingering taste of our kisses the morning after.

Passion is my loving you.
