paternal touch tracing
rivers of body deep

artesian heart flows in circular motion

scintillation radiates terrestrial tempest
permeating cracks of withering dust

a dry desert weeps upon petals
of its budding blossoms

earthen elements repose
in shades of blue.

Here's another oldie ~

This from just a year ago;

Especially like these lines:

"a dry desert weeps upon petals

of its budding blossoms"

I just LOVE the way you...

describe the elements and earth in such exquisite detail, blue! Everytime you do that, I look out My window from here in My den and see the beauty surrounding Me. I realize then what I take for granted or simply overlook in day to day life. You are My poetic reminder to stop and take in a drink of that which is provided for My visual enjoyment in this world. Thank you, blue.
