Earth's special sister planet
red hazy sky covering
her red dusty surface
planet Mars craves respect
from the vast universe
who rules this kingdom?
Rebecca Queen of Mars.
Over nine feet tall
with long red hair
like flames from the torch
touching her red satin dress
Rebecca fears nobody
her red ruby necklace
sparkling like red wine
blinding her enemies
the red Queen adores
her red mysterious planet.
Riding her red chariot of fire
Rebecca vanishes into the red sky
red choking smoke
all that is left
of the magnificent Queen.
When the first man on Mars
explores this lonely world
there is nothing to find
no green Martians
oblivious to the legend
