I saw your reflection
On a silvery pond,
Yes, that smiling face
Of which I am so fond.

That look of love
In your deep brown eyes,
Surrounded by the beauty
Of the bluest of skies.

Yes, I saw your reflection
Looking back at me,
And knew at that moment
Our love would always be.

For this was no fantasy
Or at least it seemed,
Not just another fairytale love
Of which I had always dreamed.

I realized you had been looking
At the reflection just like me,
And that both of us were there
In the reflection to see.

And as we looked at each other
And at each others reflected face,
We each tossed in a penny making a wish
Then disappeared without leaving a trace…BWL
