I lay in the quiet
staring at the ceiling fan
blades twirling the only sound
you are with me but you are not
I roll over and your back is there
I am alone with my rejection
Tears sting because I want you so
Crave more than breath by my lungs
In my mind I am aflame
My hair dancing sunset hues
My tits rosy like embers
My belly hot coals
Body only glowing fire light
So bright no need for sun
If I touch you~ you will burn for me too
But it is not so it is just me
in the dark with the ceiling fan
and your back
I lay in the quiet
