Remembered sounds inside my head
Waves of passion on my bed
Crumpled sheets to tell of dreams
Dampened pillows to hide the screams
This is all that remains behind
when my lover leaves my mind
Teeth marks gouged in reddened lip
No sweet essence to taste or sip
Eyes tight shut to see his face
A latex lover to take his place
An island of moisture mapped on a cold sheet
Is all I have of the lover I'll never meet.
