The greatest "Heavy-Weight Champion,"
That ever fought inside the ring,
Was a fighter with the shortest arms,
But he could make his punches sing!
The fighter Rocky Marciano,
Never learned how to fight with class.
He was a "Bleeder" but never quit,
And the "Rock" kicked a lot of ass!
In these days of "Soft" boxing matches,
He'd be classified as a dud.
Because today's sissified rules will,
Stop a fight at the sight of blood!
Rocky Marciano was the best,
But he was smart and quit the game.
While he still held the champion's belt,
And no one else has done the same!!
