She comes to me in the moment of my solitude
as I gaze out upon the barren plain of my dreams.
The gentle touch of her soul heals me and leads me
to the mornings light.
In peaceful harmony we sit in silence,
innately knowing
an eternal commitment is near.
An unspoken convenent that is new,
yet is understood
and as basic as could be between man and woman.
I turn to her and with one glance
she sees her future
reflected in the depths of my soul.
My countenance opens
with the upwelling of my passion,
and I dare again to see the light,
for she stands before me.
And her dreams are now mine.
