Ship of Old ©

Ship of ancient days strolls by
Looking for seas on high

In the birds-eye
Sits the magpie
Keeping a watcheye

Masts stretch up towards blue-sky
Waiting for the next blow-by

Sailors await orders to comply
With a simple and hardy aye-aye
Then those sails they shall untie

The captain retires for some shut-eye
Whilst they head towards Shanghai

sailors aye

a cute lil writ that sailed the ocean of mental blue and put a smile at the port of my mouth.
