Will you smile for me today
I seemed to have misplaced mine somewhere
If I find it I will let you know
When I looked for it I didn't see it
Maybe I will share it with you
If you're willing to stick around
Hold on a minute, i didn't check my pocket
I put it in there sometimes for safekeeping
Never mind, it's empty
I hope I didn't lose it
May I ask you a question?
Can I check your pocket?
It seems a bit more full than it was
Last time I talked to you
Well I see some change and a bunch of lint
And something of value that belongs to me
I'm glad I found it so soon
Thank you for taking care of it for me
And keeping it warm
Now I can share it with everyone
But I really have to ask,
Doesn't it look better on me than in your pocket?
