Solitudes      what is loneliness
Can a Man be alone
yet with Another?
should He even Try

fusion and fission
energy that is released
why does it take More effort to join than dismember

So easy for One to raise welts
trails of crimson
palettes of colours on her skin

Why then is it so hard
for One to take her close
Hold her and Make her His

Nature abhors    and physics teaches
More effort of the Mind
than the will can give

King Cobras, those who sleep with Me
know this      mate for Life
follow another across eons and ages

Be mine is the cry    who shall hear it?
echoing      and who might answer it
Are they the ones He wants

Sometimes the answers are not
written
in those patterns created by the welts
Nor are they in the
chaos
of the Mind

Only the heart knows for
True
Follow the Heart
and the soul will
sing
