Blackness dwells      darkness reigns
limbs asunder       fall askew
where the mind’s denizens
scuttle away

look upon the endless vigil
a beginning to the end
never ending it was
the fair maiden slept on a bier
burning bright into the morn

Denial leads elsewhere
astral souls
watching the play of lives
unfolding
entwining together

sleep , never comes to those
rend sunder
what shall be
then
fates decide
as hearts surrender

together forever
as one they beat
and smilingly
go
to meet their end
