You've swam in my soul
From the first hello
engraved yourself into my flesh
The night I knocked on your door,
Darkening it with my imperfections
Broken, alone, longing
I sought refuge in your embrace
And you gave it without a judgment

Two scarred hearts
Seeking comfort, searching for understanding
Without reservation
You opened yourself
And allowed me inside

You are my shelter, my sanity, my hope, my prayer
The greatest gift
Has been the honor
Of being your slave
Of loving you
And I will treasure it as long as we both shall live.
