A falcon flies free from her Master’s hand
Only the jesses about her leg shows she is not free
Upon the winds she rides and plays
Eyes seeking prey she may hunt and
Return to her Master for praise and favors

To bring the light of pleasure to His eyes
She travels far seeking that special gift
Exploring new paths and ways with glee
Only the collar about her neck shows she is not free
A little one wanders free from her Master’s hand

She settles on His fist, wings tucked close
Watchful and patient, knowing He will provide
Her beauty and health a sign of His tender care
He strokes her softly, pleased with her hunting
Taking her gift, returning a portion as her reward

Accepting her gift, sharing with her His pleasure
He smiles at her grace, pleased with her learning
Her beauty and glow a sign of His gentle care
Purring and content, knowing He will provide
She slides into His arms, snuggles close sighing

No lead or line controls her, only His voice
Her heart He won, her trust He earned
Bound only by a desire to please
Faithfully she return each time to His hand
Held by His love, safe and well cared for

Basking in His love, protected and treasured
She returns time and again to His hand
Held only by her desire to please
Her heart He captured, her trust He won
No lead or tie controls her, only His desires

She wears her jesses with pride
A symbol of His is commitment
She wears her collar with pride
