TEARS FROM A CRYING SOUL

I’ve felt the tears
From a crying soul,
Trapped within a man
Who’s pride time stole.

Why couldn’t I be born
In the days of old,
Born the wilderness hunter
Or reaping the mountains gold.

The day of the buffalo
And the grizzly bold.
The land of the Indian
Before which the white man stole.

Roaming freely the prairies
To the mountains high,
Free thru the seasons
As they pass time by.

Yes, free from the tears
Of the entrapped modern man,
Freed from a crying soul
Just imagine it if you can.
