Walking alone down a darkened path
With no light to guide me
Feeling lightly scared like a stray cat
With no friendly face to see

My heart is still like an open book
The pages torn and tattered old
Feeling numb with an icy look
The path before me being so cold

Softly I cry from being forgotten
Tears of pain streaking my face
All that is sweet around me turn rotten
My heart strings becoming unlaced

I don't know where I am
The path behind me unknown
My worth starting to feel less a pound
No guilding hand for weighing is shown

Am I lost? Will I be found?
Over my chest I form the "cross"
If I die I won't make a sound
I am just another soul lost

I know I do

but its because of how my brain works. I am constantly thinking of something off the wall, something morbid or something controversial. What can I say... I am weird.

Enjoyed it... but probably because

one broken heart speaks volumes to the other
