Laid out like a feast ,
those sands of desire,
rippled with shoals of heat,
coloured like the clouds at sunset,
blazing red and golden, twinged in pink

the colours of her skin,
His memories recall,
afresh are the sounds ,
those moans and whimpers,
soft gurgling cries,
Slake His thirst ,
Take His hunger
Make them whole and complete her circle

deep into the rends He makes,
swallowed then gurgitated,
the snake wallows in slick harmony,
clicking its forked tongue and
Claiming again,
                     and again

Wordly appetites whelm me

The poet continues his coloured enjoyment

and I am gruntled to read "gurgitated".

Also I have not seen "rends" as a noun before.

Always interesting, the author is becoming

even more creative with his wordplay.

An interesting read
