So many years of giving
So much time of understanding
Each day I have laid building blocks
For a future for us and our children
Year after year – just me, alone
I am sure to make things easier for you
Clearing the way for your comfort
Now there is one layer of foundation
One layer for shelter
They are steady, made with love and determination
