to leaves

But a child in a man's body
stumbling, blind crooked ways of this world
Not right, won't work

Things aren't what they seem

A vision, faceted
discs waltzing round glint sunlight
entire, colors of the rainbow, played

head over heels as my thoughts, flowed – to leaves

How as a child in a child's body, I'd love to color leaves
One, for every soul that ever was
will ever be

There is magic
coursing through my fingers
I just have not believed – Until now

I haven't believed.
