Click hereStarlight shines on many faces. Faces I might not see again. Wishes that are not yet answered are kept in the stars brightness. Wondering when I gaze at the stars will my thoughts be heard? I look for answers that are not given to me when I need to hear it the most.
Time will tell when my face is among the others, when we can feel the brightness of the stars and feel the togetherness of being in the same spot looking at the starts.
A thoughtful expression of all too real questions...nicely done.
~Merry
You may want to structure the poem where you use several stanzas and more line breaks, though it's not necessary. It's your poem and this is just a suggestion. :)
Starlight shines on many faces.
Faces I might not see again.
Wishes that are not yet answered
are kept in the stars brightness.
Wondering when I gaze at the stars
will my thoughts be heard?
I look for answers that are not given to me
when I need to hear it the most.
Time will tell when my face is among the others,
when we can feel the brightness of the stars
and feel the togetherness
of being in the same spot looking at the stars.
