I’m lathered with your taught skin
Folding and unfolding your
Subtle form
Circling around you and
Touching each inch
Between the cracks and all that lay open
Nothing missed or left
With my hand, my lips my tongue
Each cell devoured
Flourishing under my touch

And the Virus has a way of riding the wave
And seeping up to greet
Each tender touch
And so as I lay bare to you
The viral face kisses me back
And takes
Refuge in my host
And innocent is the bed
I prepare
For I’m seduced
To the poison ever cunning
Expands its boundary
Now to my edges

Whoops?

Taught or taut?

Shhh - I won't tell;

Just goes to show

One little word can so distract

From all else you wrote.
