of
Hour glass
Sifting the
Grains
Through hand and finger tips
Who can stop the flow
Of time in
The glass of hours?
Who will find me
In the grains of eternity
or among the
Stars that lay at my feet?
I'll take a cup
And catch the rushing
Granule Spark
To capture the one
Who will capture me
I am with DJ full heartedly! Fantastic play of shifting imagery, when in a moment the sand is like an hour glass between the fingers of the sitting person, and next the “glass of hours” indicates that time itself is sifted through the fingers, and maybe the person him/herself (like us all) is but one of the pieces which are ”sitting in the sand of hour glass”… And that is only one such shifted image!
I really like the way this provokes the imagination and wonder what it is like for those who love ... and for those who want to be loved.
Regards, DJ
Well done piece
Inspires imagery in the reader's mind
Of someone alone at the beach
Waiting for their special
Grain of sand...
