I just want to stop for a moment
Close my eyes and see the past
Hold it tight within my palm
Never lose my grasp

I just want to be free
And fly into the sky
To pass around the world
And never be denied

I just want to find a smile
A welcomed warm embrace
Someone to give me shelter
From this dark and lonely place

I just want the pain to heal
To become one with the night
I need to seek the demons
And make them take their flight

I just want release
Quick and soon and fast
For I don't know how much longer
I'll be able to last

I just want to know
How long is long enough
Though I know I'll stand forever
For my children I'll be tough

I think most of us have felt these same feelings. Don't give up hope. I believe things will get better for you. Thanks for sharing!

DC:

Every man and every woman's dream, and yet it cannot be. For all too soon we must remember that our duty is to our progeny. Thank You. Ronnie W.
