Folds and engulfs,
Taken together
are they the paramour I waited for
Stricken with desire
a glimpse that One caught
once
         and that memory stayed
does that recall
the way I am with you?
what makes Me circle and feint
return and visit
the places
My ancestors made their
own
Is it your body that is
My holy grail
Or your eyes that drag Me asunder

Feed Me to the craven fellows
  And Make Me whole again,
Maybe charlatans will cease
                           their cry
and all will be
as before
A forlorn spark
far in the distance
