Years ago I asked you to marry me
I loved you and wanted to spend
the rest of my life with you
I was so scared and nervous
Not sure I was doing the right thing
Getting married the second time and all
Wondering If I was making the right choice
That seems so long ago
Now I cannot imagine a day without you
I love you more than I ever thought I could
Having you beside me completes me
Your smile and your touch still thrills me
Here we are yrs later
growing older together
Life's journey is such a ride
