I pedal
not knowing
where
I am
or
we are
heading
Sitting on a yellow tandem

I pedal
We pedal
as it is supposed to be...
the soft breeze passing through my hair
creates chaos
I pedal again
We pedal again

Red
charming
poppies
gaze at us amazed
woken up from their lazy afternoon naps...

St. Victoire
from far away
smiles at us
warm heartedly...

Yellow- green vineyards
still so young
waiting impatiently for succulent grapes
envy this
intoxicating ecstasy
in a sunny summer ...

Tiny Birds
ashamed of their
usual melodies
hide
desperately
inside gargantuan oak trees
not knowing
what to sing...

Suddenly,
I notice
You,
the chauffeur of my soula
vêtu de blanc et noir
who
pedals, pedals, pedals
sans cesse

I wish
the path
continues
because
the destination
already
paralyses me

I faint!

I like the flow and scenery as you pass. Sooner or later you have to stop peddling, don't worry though, it won't be the end of the ride...only the beginning.

I liked the imagery

nice word pictures. You faint? Courage, little one.
