said all would be fine.
YOU PROMISED!
I did my part,
prayed with all my heart.
YOU PROMISED!
Then Christmas came,
they all said the same.
THEY PROMISED!
Drew you a picture card,
continued to pray real hard.
YOU ALL PROMISED!
Dad looked me in the eye,
tearfully told me all's not fine.
HE PROMISED!
I was told God looked you in the eye,
said it was time to say good bye.
