Use past tense and get an editor

The present tense is used by experienced authors but only very rarely, and for a purpose. In your case there is no purpose, and you do not handle it very well - occasionally you use the past tense. This grates! Get yourself an editor and you will be very successful.

good STORY

liked the story incorporated a lot in it. in the real world, I doubt this would have happened, at least the way it was presented. even if in a marriage, I doubt it would happen that fast, and there would at least be some kind of dialog between the 2. as a story ok, 5*
