You're going to find these type of stories on every site, but the big difference is some sites do a better job of categorizing stories. For instance lushstories.com divides what is know as 'loving wives' on this site, into different categories, making it easier for readers avoid stories they don't like. Literotica could have resolved this problem long time ago, by just creating a new category of "willing cuckoldry" for those that like that kind of erotica, but instead they chose to allow anything into this category, including interracial, gay, fetish, cuckoldry, cheating, swinging, etc. Although cheating is the primary purpose of loving wives, it's being dominated by willing cuckoldry stories, hence the problem for many of us. Pay attention to the title, tags, comments and scores. Low scores usually reflect lousy stories. Also, keep track of authors that write better erotica, chances are they will continue to do so, and avoid the trash writers like this one. Merry Christmas and let's hope the good writers will post soon. Like usual, today was a disappointment in loving wives.

Gotta love when the comments section is much longer than the story itself! If you want to generate a ton of comments on this site, it's pretty clear how to do so. This story is practically an instruction manual on that topic.

It's almost as if someone wrote this just to rile up the LW BTB crowd. It even generated anonymous contributions from the "Cuckerotica Guy" and the "Baboon Guy!" All we need is for Harry in VA to weigh in, and this story will have achieved the coveted Loving Wives Daily Trifecta!

I don't know what readers expected when they clicked on a story described as "Found my wife having fun." Maybe she was playing Yahtzee with the girls from the gardening club? LOL.

As for the story, there isn't much worth mentioning -- despite the number of comments. We have the boilerplate, standard-issue, LW plot of hubby coming home early. Wifey is caught fucking some guy we know nothing about. Hubby shrugs his shoulders and says, "Meh, whatever. Have fun."

That's it. End of scene, end of story. No background, no follow-up, and no explanation for anything that just happened. For a one-star story with no plot, it sure has managed to get a lot of blood boiling! I guess if the goal of writing is to evoke emotion and passion from your readers, then mission accomplished, author!

Having nothing better to do around 5 pm on a rainy day, two days before Christmas, I did a little research on those who commented negatively AND signed their user names. With two or three exceptions, none of them have submitted any stories. Granted, a good critic does not have to be a writer, but shouldn't they be able to point out what's wrong? "I don't like it," seems a little weak.

Now, on to your story; I went back and read it again. Guess what--you made surprisingly few mistakes, that I spotted at least, for a new guy. Yes, the plot is simple, man comes home early, catches wife and lover, and apologizes. The last part is where you differ from the norm, and while I'm sure you pissed off a lot of the Anons with it, I think it's a stroke of genius. You just need to develop it a bit. You must admit, it's not the normal reaction of a husband with a gun in his hand, so why did your husband act that way. You see, there's a lot to consider when we're trying to make people suspend belief and "get into" our stories.

You could benefit from reading the writer's resources on Literotica, especially those on dialogue. Read your husband's words; would you really talk like that? I'd suggest that even a laid back hubby like you wrote, when he'd caught the couple and given his blessings, would have said something more like:
"Don't put your damn clothes back on. You come here to fuck, now fuck. If you don't get her off and fill her pussy full of cum, I'm gonna be pissed."
I don't suggest you use those words but the point is to get some feeling into the dialogue. The man is in a fairly unique situation, I doubt he'll talk like an English Lit. professor.

Anyway, I'm about to make the comment as long as the story. (BTW it's tough to write a good one pager. I think first tries would be best at two but no more than three.) THIS ADVICE IS WORTH EXACTLY WHAT IT COST YOU. Good luck and I hope to see another story soon.

I haven't submitted anything here. I wouldn't be good at it. But my major credential is quite simple.... I am a consumer, a reader, the target audience. If you and other writers don't impress me and millions like me, your books will languish on the shelves and in the discount bins of outlet stores or on the hard drives of countless servers.

I admit to a real bias, to which I am entitled. But emotional bias aside, the comments that you may be willing to dismiss so easily give strong indications of the success or lack of same of the piece.

I've tried to look at some of your stuff and many of the comments here could apply to your work, in my opinion. And that's the point, it's only my opinion but if FreddyBob wants me or the millions like me as readers he might want to pay attention. He can ignore the values espoused by commenters but he ignores comments on style and even organization to his peril.
