Well-written, as usual
But I really don't like Dessi, for what she did to Ian. It was extremely disrespectful of their friendship.
Since she was so sexually experienced, she should have gotten another boy to have sex with, or a dildo, NOT push herself on her best friend, who believes he's gay and tells her that he had to imagine she was a boy when they had sex.
Since he had no other friends, I feel that he must have felt that his giving her sex was the price of her continuing to be his friend.
And she's deluded, wanting him to be something other than he's not.
A situation like this might not only wreck a friendship, but do serious emotional damage to both people.

I find Ian's story much less interesting than Gina and Andrew and Penny.
It's just not that compelling. We already know how Ian and Dessi end up, or not. So their trip to nowhere is of minimal interest. Like Gina, Dessi is not being very intelligent about this relationship. In fact, very much like Gina, Dessi is trading her sexuality and companionship to get what she wants, Ian's love and affection, even after she should understand that Ian is not capable of the relationship she really wants. This quid pro quo basis for a relationship is A+ in a business application, but rather shallow and tepid in romance. I would argue that it is not even romance, but just an expedient exchange for sex and company. What you normally have between a prostitute and her customer. Here we have Dessi in a wasted love affair, while Ian enjoys her friendship, with mildly interesting benefits. He's thinking of guys while he believes he's fucking her for the first time? They are both sad and pathetic. If that is what you mean to convey give yourself 5 stars.
Well written, but too sad and self denigrating to be entertaining or interesting. Mostly just depressing.
