Great story, especially for a first timer. I gave you a five. You wrote pretty tight and fast paced. I didn't try to play editor; I just read for enjoyment, since I've been knocking myself out trying to get another story ready for submission, but I didn't notice any errors.

What a thrilling, imaginative, and intriguing complex saga of lust, passion, personal growth, and a deprived woman's attempt to regain her identity and independence. Where have you been, while Loving Wives has wallowed in the shallow, cheap, predictable, and mostly male dominated Victorian writers who seek to relegate women to the bedroom and the kitchen. I can see unbelievable success for your writing future with such incredibly sensitive and nuanced insight into the inner frustrations of women condemned to the shackles of wife and motherhood.

Very imaginative and original giving the gardener a huge cock. But how much more special if he also was black? Oh well, next story. I can hardly wait.

Really? Just another cheater and isn't it strange how there is always a justification for a betrayal whether male or female.They feel it is their right to betray the spouse.

Shall we call this a rip-off? Basically I against any cheating, but accept divorce which modernizes my view. Still I can not help being irritated with the husband for leaving a beautiful flower in the cellar. You have to maintain them!

This story is a bit too short to be considered as a fully-formed story. I assume there will be a follow-up? If so, you should have labeled this as Chapter One. The most interesting part of this story is the consequence of Elle's actions. Does she feel remorse or regret? Does she decide to leave her husband? Does she start fucking every man in sight, without remorse, and wakes up one day and realizes what a shameless slut she has become? Instead, you left us hanging.

If I could offer one other piece of advice, it's the old adage "show, don't tell." For example, when you described Elle as a bored housewife, you told us "The curvy brunette had spent the last 5 years as a wife and mother with not much of an identity of her own." Instead, it would have been a more powerful connection if you had allowed the reader to draw that same conclusion through Elle's words and actions.

It seemed as though you were in a rush to get this story published. Slow down, take your time, and let the story unfold naturally.

It's a good story (bit short) but I'm posting as once again some readers do not realise that loving wives category is specifically for cheating wife stories. It says this on the category description! Idiots.
