Why second person
The only possible reason for writing in second person past tense is if "you" cannot remember any of this and "I" had to tell you what happened. Don't do it!!

You guys are brutal......I appreciate the feedback and that fact that you all put your names on it, I truly do. But I have gotten several anonymous emails about this story that were just rude and hateful. If you don't like it that is fine you are entitled to say so but at least give me a a name or email. I am sorry I categorized it wrong but I am very new to this, and I am sorry to the person it confused, and I appreciate the comment about writing in the 2nd person but would like to have a way to contact you so I can find out how to be better!
