Something terrible did happen. You just missed it in this sorry little story that tried hard to be interesting and entertaining but failed to conjure up any real cleverness. RIP

When you think about it. Two of the three men were cheats. One of the three women was a cheater.

Half the main characters are immoral oathbreakers.

Though it makes for an entertaining fairytale,lol.
