Sounds like a story written by the late British Comedian Ernie Wise!
He used to interject errant "than what" into his deliberately wrong tales!

Sort of a WTF moment

Yes, I have known a woman or two who would claim behavior. A visceral turn about of action on her part, considering his running to the shower. 5 stars for this effort, because I was married to a woman like this. Is there more to the story?
