Could have been fun

but instead it was a kind of stupid premise. The word 'lame' comes to mind.

Priorities

An interesting story on priorities. Unfortunately, Eve failed the test. You see, in this life only two things are really important: Your survival, and having children. Marriage is the foundation for both biological imperatives. The concept of the lone wolf is foolish and goes against human nature and human strength. As far as her "work" is concerned, no work is more important than your marriage - that is a lie your ego tells you. As far as "national security" goes - well that has been proven to be a lie as well! Throwing your life and the life of your spouse away for your job is a bad decision. Taking her back four years later, that is a bad decision as well.

Not Sure

I liked the premise of this story, the gorgeous attractive mystery woman. The problems I have are the photograph falling out of the safe supposedly coming from an envelope containing others. The interrogation technique, female nudity embarrassing religious men or allowing them to touch her breasts so they reveal their secrets. Her reappearance four years later and everything is all roses in the garden. Just not plausible enough for me, this could have been so much better but I like the offerings from hapless and look forward to others.

I think the Isreali's have it right...

... when it comes to Top Secret agents and their spouses. Supposedly there's a whole counseling system setup where what the agent has gone through is discussed with the spouse, etc, to help give him/her a stable home to come back too. One can't have that and keep secrets at the same time.

As for the story, well written, but the premise is silly. Perhaps that was the intent. A silly premise to make us think.

I also have to agree with some of the other commenters, never marry someone who puts their job first and never be stupid enough to put your job above your marriage. Being told you come second in a relationship is an inevitable death sentence.

Jesus, Sugna

I have no idea where your head is at sometimes.

Marriage isn't just about children, it can just be about companionship, and sometimes people just don't have children.

And many people put service to something bigger than their own lives, ahead of their own lives. Some of us are just plain selfish and happy :P

But either way, I would almost think you're trolling, but I've seen you mention that sort of shit elsewhere and I think you actually believe it. It's almost as ridiculous as writers who write about grown up men who are obsessed with breast milk.

As original as they come

This one broke the originality meter, Hap; and it was entertaining too. Since those are the things that I prize most, a 5* from me!

A good and entertaining story...

This is a good and entertaining story...one error though: Eve after returning she has presented herself as: "Amber Brighton", but suddenly she turned to be "Samantha"!!!

Original storyline

One that I enjoyed until the end when he got stupid and took her back. I simply don't see him being naive enough to take her back. Given their history and her actions and reactions how could he ever trust a word that came out of her mouth? Given the fact that he has had years to get over her some type of dramatic "I don't think so" should have been his answer. Anyway - entertaining story. I just didn't like the ending.

Tell the Slut to Fuck Off!

She lied to him about what she did for a living for their entire relationship and marriage. He, was suspicious (as it turns out rightfully so) and repeatedly asked her if she was a call girl, but except for intercourse (and we don't know if we can trust her that this didn't take place on the honey-trap dates) she repeatedly denies it. She strips in front of guys - this qualifies her as a paid stripper. Then sometimes she lets strangers suck on her tits and finger her pussy - to my mind that is a sex act and qualifies her as a paid prostitute. If you do the math, even at only one trip/john per week for 10 years comes to over five hundred strangers that she will have striped for/had sex with. What normal guy would want a woman with that kind of mileage. She dumps him the instant she doesn't want him around, and continues on prostituting around for 4 years. She told him from the start that her job would always come first; who knows what would happen in her next job - maybe it's the same operation under a different name, but with local 'business' interviews. She sounds like a real catch to me - not! He should run, not walk, away from her, and leave the so-called friends that set him up behind too.

not sure about this one.

she was right to get mad at him, she all but told him what she did for a living was not something he would like. he didnt care all he wanted was her .then when he finds out he gets mad. but, getting mad is one thing. what she did is something totally different. for her to divorce him and not see him for years without even talking to him about it. no way he should even think about giving her a second chance. just how much could she love him if this is how she deals with him saying something mean to her.yes she is hot but so are strippers. you dont want to be marrying them either.this is like marrying an ex porn star. sounds like fun until you see her getting pounded by 2 guys.he shouldve just told her that he was better off without her.

i dont think he is blameless

he knew something was off about her job from the start.she as much told him. hell he kept asking her if she was a call girl. deep down he knew it was gonna be bad. he didnt give a shit .that said, he was obviously shocked by what he found out and got on her about it. her response was very strange. instead of talking to him she just up and leaves him. doesnt so much as tell him goodbye. then after 4 years and who knows how many guys later she just shows up and all is forgiven. bullshit. im tired of dumbass stories were the spouse spends years pinning away for their ex. get on with your fucking life. plenty of other people out there. when she got tired of blowing arabs and wanted to find him he shouldve just introduced her to his new wife.

Hmmm... have to consider this one...

I might wander in my thoughts here but...

If you were male and an undercover operative and HAD to have sex with women in order to both make and maintain your cover... should your wife divorce you...? What if you weren't just undercover in a normal criminal organization but rather in a terrorist organization...?

You could feel bad about that part of it but should you be able to expect that your spouse be understanding...? And should you expect them to be understanding if you were doing this sort of thing BEFORE marrying them...?

Should telling your spouse (or spouse to be) that you WILL choose your job over them and that there are things about it they won't like count as saying "I will have sex with other women for my job"...?

I'm not sure I think it does. There are any number of "jobs" which can entail spending months (or more) away from the marriage - but they don't typically include actions as part of them which are counter to the precepts OF marriage.

So she loves him (a fact proven by the fact that SHE committed a treasonist act by not informing on his having read the file) but is that better or worse since she's breaking the spirit of her job even if not breaking the actuality of it...? And if she's willing to break the spirit of it why would she take years to end the reality of it...? Seems unlikely unless she no longer BELIEVES in her job but CAN'T just quit.

And as scenarios, I'm not sure my proposed fits perfectly - since in the reversed positions it would be more like his job would entail RAPING women who he WAS investigating, not having sex with women to fit in with OTHER men raping women. And, no matter what, should a wife be expected to accept that - even if the husband HAD said "there are things I do you won't like"...?

So, while the story was interesting, I'm not sure I accept that his actions made sense in light of what he learned, regardless of what she'd told him prior. And I think if she loved him (which I already pointed out I believed), she should have insisted if he wanted to marry her he would have to wait until she finished her job... though it would still feel weird to expect him to accept she loved him and yet would still do what she did...

anything

If you would put anything or anyone ahead of your spouse you should not marry.

Job, mother, father, "best friend", does not matter what.

I agree with 2crows - NOTHING should come before your spouse. She should have been up-front with him when they both discovered that their relationship was becoming more than just a fuck fest.

Many years ago, I was married to my dream girl, but the trust just wasn't there and I was always in 'second place,' after her family. After the divorce she kept pursuing me (today it would be called stalking), and even though I still loved her, I just couldn't forget all the lies and being like an afterthought in our marriage. She would not admit that she ruined our relationship. I had to let her go and eventually moved on (both physically and mentally). I hadn't thought about her in decades, and this story brought back the memories - although not as painful now as they were then. I guess time does heal woulds. LOL

Happy, But...

While I'm glad they were able to re-connect, I don't understand why Eve couldn't/wouldn't give him a chance to admit that he was wrong, that she had given him fair warning, and he was prepared to accept the requirements of her job.

time may heal all wounds...

but the scars will always remains....
call it what you may.... whether you do it for country or for a pimp she was still a HOe, special agent white hoe,

technically she was a call girl, she would be called to do her duties she had agreed upon, national security as a guise to carry out perverted fantasies..

what does freedom of speech mean if even a judge is so afraid of you revealing the truth?
maybe just as usual this is just a story, but ask your self....... should it?

Not a good ending.

Yes, she warned him, and also said she would choose her job over him. It was her fault that the safe was not fully closed. When he confronted her, she did not need to just leave and divorce him without talking. Even if she planned on continuing her slut job, she could have then told him, I warned you, and now you have a choice, drop it and never mention it again and we'll be OK, or we divorce. At least that would have been better than what she did. However, I think he was wrong to take her back. After the four years and she shows up, here's how it should have gone down. 1) Sure I missed you, you broke my heart, and it took a long time for me to get over you. We're done, don't ever try to contact me again. I come first in my life, not you, and not your job. 2) Her friends that were in on the rematch, and were all smiles, OK, I get it, they were excited and thought he would love the rematch. But...After jolting Eve/Amber/Samantha, or whoever she was at that point, on his way out the door, he should have told his married friends not to bother giving him a ride, he doesn't feel like being around them either. 3) One more thing he could have told Eve, when he rejects her, is that even though she claimed not to be a call girl, regardless of the job being for the government, she was nothing more than a government gutter slut. I liked the story, and it was clever, I just get tired of the guy always being written as an accepting wimp, basically a cuckhold,

Sucky ending with no explanations.

This story was readable but pathetic.

She is a whore for terrorists but since she lets him fuck her after disappearing for four more years of being a plaything for murderous scum, it is all ok.

Pure bullshit here. Well written bullshit and unsatisfying.
