A great start! Really interested on how the story continues. My personal pet peeve when it comes to stories involving reluctant females (in the beginning) is when they acquiesce far too easily. Ariana shows considerable fire I would love to see an actual fight for her freedom, makes the character's eventual surrender far more satisfying ;) Please don't leave us waiting too long for the next chapter!!

Interesting idea. You did make it plain how they knew her so well, although it's still a tad hazy to me exactly why--it seems they would have waited until she finished college at least. I will keep reading, as your character and setting sounds intriguing.

missing the verisimilitude

It's an interesting plot line, but very hard to swallow (pun not intended), I mean, Ariana doesn't seem bothered with the fact she has been kidnapped and brought to another country. It's all a little... very unrealistic. And it's also full of clichés: so the guy likes strong, sophisticated, educated women, but then wants one who's perfectly submissive (she has to learn how to cook etc.)?

I will continue reading :)
