Pretty good effort for a first submission. I like the story, but you need to check your work: it is too easy to pull a reader from your story with simple mis-spellings and grammatical errors. You had a couple that started me out of the story. But overall, a very good effort. 4****

A cute and clever story - very good for a first submission. Ignore the haters and keep writing! (also - there is a funny Portlandia clip on Youtube about "real nerd" versus "hipster wannabe nerd.") Your character has the confidence of a hipster nerd which is really not a nerd at all. But that doesn't mean I don't love it - I do.
