There are a lot of volunteer editors and who knows, you could even become good friends with one of them. I am sure there is someone out there who would take up the challenge to edit for you.

Thank you for suggesting that I look and befriend an editor here on this site. I positively shall look into it. Anyway, this is an old piece I just posted while working on something else not yet finished. My new work is a bit different from this. I am no longer using The Collins Thesaurus 2007 version that I used for those older stories of mine. I am just writing without the use of synonyms for now!

Personally I find your style - whether coyly deliberate or genuinely naif - great. It's fun to read. Totally works for me.
