Is this the end???????

Very enjoyable piece but If this is the end as I expect, I hope you don't write anymore with a similar ending.

Title

To be able to pen 20 pages of a story but to not be able to include four letters and a number in the title "Part 1"

This Is So Cool

I believe the author said that the story is not finished and that another part is due, but I do believe he should complete this story first and let his readers know the outcome, so come on finish the damn story as another great author would say, but up to now the author has all of his readers hanging on what could be one of the best stories on this site.

As I explained in the preamble, I required motivation in order to finish this story. In reading the posts I rediscovered that motivation. So thank you all.

My writing style is somewhat different than when I first wrote the story, which was several years ago. In the long haul that means the conclusion I've submitted might not be on par with the first part of the story.

The conclusion won't tie up those loose ends that some readers seem so hung up on, but I never intended to create a perfectly trimmed world. Either way, to my perspective, it's a satisfactory ending.

Lol, I'm glad you didn't write part 1 etc... Normally I don't bother reading part stories.

But this one, I started reading it on my phone late one night... And I was so hooked I just carried on reading page after page... Think it took me about 3 hours lol go get through all 20 pages on my phone in bed reading it but despite feeling tired just carried on reading because I wanted to find out the ending.

So I was pretty disappointed having spent 3 hours reading it only for it to abrutly end... Was thinking I was missing a page lol where's the ending! That can't be the end!

So I'm glad you are writing the finish I want to find out what happens!

A story about Lt. Richards could be interesting. I have no problem with his treatment of his wife after seeing her video. I am quite interested to see what happens. It seems that NO ONE in your story is particularly likeable.

I've considered doing something with the character Lt. Richards. Currently, I don't have a plot line, although I do have an inkling of how his story could continue. As it stands now, I'm working on several stories simultaneously so it'll be sometime before I can do anything with Richards' story.

It's true, few of the characters in any story I write are likable. That could be due to my focusing on their more negative human traits, while attempting to redeem them. I think that's basically true in life as well. If we were to focus solely on the negative aspects of, say, friends, we might not care for them too much, either.

Way too long a story.......

Not to have an ending was disappointing at best. Character development was lean and a long time coming. Several sections were too wordy and could have been better with good editing. And while it would appear that he was a victim, some of his problems were self inflicted. Why would he file for divorce and run off without EVER talking to his wife? Didn't he want to know the whys and wherefores of her actions? Why did he simply stick his head in the sand? He's mad at her for sure, but how do you hate someone so much you don't talk to them? You have to feel something for them to hate them. So I really don't feel too much sympathy for him. But we'll never know because you couldn't be bothered to finish the damn story! Where is FTDS when you need him? For those reasons I gave the story a 2.

Re-read the part where she sent him that hateful video of her cheating on him with an included package of malware to 'nuke' his computer.
Re-read where she cheated on him for over a month.
Re-read where she tried to destroy his relationships with his friends and his family.
Re-read where she told him if he did not move out of their house she would file false charges of rape against him.

Did she talk to him?
NO!
She went straight to all out war.

Does she deserve what she would not give?

Formulaic Boredom

It follows the mistaken identity formula with the authors own twist and then it procedes to bore you to death.

Not a pleasant read. Too long. Nothing to like here.

Husband is passive-aggressive. Self-absorbed. Cowardly. Loves to wallow in misery. Ended up meaner than Shela.

Shela crazy girl. But at least she tried to make a come back.
