Another WoW inspired tale? Well written, but we have scant background thus far.

My own comment has nothing to do with your story, but of the recent trend in elves having super long ears (by recent, I mean the past couple of decades). Every time I read descriptions or see pictures of such ears, I flash on images of a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado or a bi-masted schooner. I know it's silly, but -- "Vroom, vroom." (A third "vroom" would just be an unintended advert, but might help make the point as it were.)
