I don't know what it is, but sex scenes written from a woman's point of view by a woman tend to be hotter than the rest. Don't know if it is the word choices or that fact that I KNOW that a woman is writing it. I don't care that the main character didn't "burn in hell for her evil sins against her husband". The sex was hot and I enjoyed it.
However, it does need a conclusion. Rob is not the saint he started out as. He really is a jerk. Yea, he helped her out of a dangerous situation but that didn't entitle him to sexual favors. And what about Brian? Or Robs wife? From the sound of it, Rob is coming back for seconds. So, I guess the fatality in that attack was Gail's marriage.
Why the need to insult other readers, only because they don't agree with the writer or with you? You must excuse me but a person that rates a story 5* just to "to help you offset those readers", shows that you aren't far away from being a dumb ass as you called them!!! Writers that write only to have good comments and critics don't understand what means to write!!! For him to know what other men called her, is because he talked with them about her. As usual the story is well written, but the plot is a weak one!!!

Turns out her "white knight" was just an asshole in disguise. I agree with others who say that this tale needs a tangible conclusion. There has to be some fallout from everything.

She cannot have "a very good, if not great, marriage," if she pulled something like this after 20 years. The odds of dissatisfaction and cheating come much earlier in a marriage. If you make it to 20 years, the odds are you have impulse control. She not only cheated on her husband, she was part of cheating on another person as well. If you give half a shit about the person you are about to cheat with, you do not risk their marriage - unless you want to break it up and want a divorce as well.
20 years and no mention of kids. I see this a lot in these stories. Kids are a major factor in our lives. Not having them is not typical. Children and the absence of children affect a marriage in all sorts of ways. Without this information, any story about marriage is two dimensional.

Anyway, this one reminded me of a piece in a Las Vegas periodical for Valentines Day a year ago - Dates from Hell. It turned out that the lady was a dancer (and thus presumably attractive, but certainly in good shape) and she was assaulted by a guy who was going to steal her purse... she proceeded to beat the shit out of him,., when her "boyfriend" showed up to save her - turns out the boyfriend had set it up as a way to get in her good graces. Hijinks did not ensue.

This story was well written. However, it is about 2 cheaters. Yes, he saved her and did an heroic thing for her. BUT she and he are still cheaters. If she wanted this guy so much and she had to do something for only him, why not divorce husband first and not become a dreaded cheater. The sad part is she plans on continue cheating on her husband and her good friend. There are many reasons given to cheat but none of them are acceptable. This wife wanted this guy and used his saving her as an excuse to cheat. Thanks for the story.
