We shall see what we shall see.

After chapter one, which was more essay than story, this second chapter detailed a fast-paced personal development set against the backdrop of a more sharply-defined and creative if hostile time (though perhaps no more angry and divided than today) that now seems so distant in some ways yet still relevant as one can see in hindsight the early sprouts of today's politically-motivated right-wing "culture wars" which are about confusing the issues so as to continue fighting the more socially democratic and personally liberating impulses of that dynamic period.

So far, so good. Looking forward to the next chapter.
