@NB - The humor is really a reaction for Grue (my co-writer) and I after writing really emotionally-heavy pieces back to back to back. This story is a chance for us to explore (and exploit) tropes as deftly as we can. There is a larger plot, and the characters are as deep as any we've ever had, but we're also looking to try our hand at a bit of comedy this time around to stretch ourselves as storytellers.

I'll have to look at your other stories. I'm really into your writing style. Question, Is the Narrator character still following the original two or is he done with? So far that's been my favorite scenes from the story.

Halfway through this chapter, I was wondering how this menage of characters would get along. You made it work and made us laugh through it.
