I've found a similar story online, and had reason to guess that the protagonist on that one was born doing things like what is discribed here, only he was not in school. I guessed that aliens had abducted his parents, then genetically altered the zygote to create a means to, at a future time, to repopulate Earth, even other planets after a major disaster hit them, such as a asteroid strike, nuclear war.
