Holy s**t! They're back!
I did a double take when I saw this on the new story page yesterday. I am surprised, but happily surprised to see you bring back Mark and Megan. I read the original as it came out and was blown away by the ending, I hated to see it end, but I was very satisfied with it.
Never thought I'd see them again, but here they are and you haven't missed a beat. Same sort of gloomy feel to it, but this time Megan comes across as grateful not whiny and the evolution of their relationship is obvious. The paintings gave me a chill. Not sure where you're going with this, but I know I'll be there for the ride!
And so far as good as the first. Original fan of the first series, got on board when you had about ten chapters of it done.
This series has a similar yet different tone to it-partially the third person tense rather than first person you wrote the first one in. But the characters have matured. Megan still has those bummer flashbacks, but picks herself up right away with all that's good in life and Mark seems happy, less of an edge to him less angry. It makes sense considering they overcame everything, but...looks like Megan has a stalker and trouble is brewing..more please.

Mark and Megan back again, sexy and dark as ever. As always, loved the sex and the deeper character studies that you bring. I might have to re-read parts of SwB to get the full characters back into my head.
Hoping that you don't generate conflict by having them cheat on each other, that is. Too much to hope? Probably. Anyway, this was a good chapter, and I enjoyed it despite my pessimistic mental meanderings. I wasn't precisely delighted to learn that Megan had been stripping, even with Mark's approval/support, so I felt like a four would've expressed my feelings better, but evidently anything less than five might as well be a one, so I gave it a 5. I'm intrigued about this mysterious painter who knows Mark's scars...I was pretty sure that was what Megan had noticed, and...I may have gone "yes! Calllled iiiit!" when it was confirmed, lol. Pardon my rambling.

I generally don't respond in the comments field, but wanted to state something here. This series won't exactly be cheery, but the one line you-or others-never have to worry about is Mark and Megan's fidelity. That is a topic I would never touch, they longed for each other for twenty years in SWB one and will never jeopardize the "sanctity" of their bizarre marriage.
However, both siblings are exhibitionist and are wild by most people's standards. For readers who recall the first series, both have had sex in front of other people both together and on their own. Megan enjoys showing herself off and the fact its on her terms now and Mark enjoys her doing it, its look how hot my wife/sister is, but you can't have her. Rest assured, their relationship is safe. I mention this because the thought of me writing that it wasn't would upset me more than it would you guys!
I love this series and can't wait to see where you will go this time. I must admit the original series was a bit hard to handle at times. Before SWB the whole M/s was a huge turn off for me but you have enlightened me. I'm a bit relived to hear that their will be no infidelity now that are together just a bit of show and tell.
First, thank you for responding! I guess you prefer to respond to emails? Anyway, I really just wanted to thank you for the assurance you offered. I had to grit my teeth through a lot of SWB because of many things (lol) but the turmoil in their relationship was at the top of the list. (It shared space, heh) I'm excited (and anxious...definitely still room for anxiety) to read this new entry knowing that *that*, at least, is not a concern. I can handle the exhibitionism better -knowing that- now too, thanks!
