Sorry, after reading chapter one I thought I'd give this a go, there is really nothing in these chapters. They aren't long enough and there is NO information for the back story. His wife is an enigma, seems she is superfluous to the story, so is her husband.

I think this could amount to something nice but I feel it needs major development. Chapters need to be longer. I'm interested in where you take this. Good luck
