Daniellekittenover 14 years agoThis was well written, well thought out and entirely too hard to walk away from. I loved the story and the ending. If it had ended any other way, it would have missed that final hurrah that it needed. Great job. I'll be looking for more of your work.

Ravishingalmost 13 years agoLittle else to say, I feel it's all been said before from the other comments left. You write quite exquisitely, and manage easily to draw your reader in right until the climax at the end.

Anonymousabout 8 years agoThis is one exquisite story and I really enjoyed reading it. I gave you 5-STARS. You are one hell of a writer who knows how to write a story with an outstanding plot and with excellent character development. The ending was very, very sad. Cassandra was a real bitch to make Julie suffer the pain of having her Tongue, Eyes, and womb cut out. If I had been Stephen I probably would have killed right then and there. Retired Army NCO

Anonymousalmost 5 years agoWow. This story should be polished up a bit and submitted to the publishers who do fantasy short story anthologies (and who pay authors for their work!).
YesterdaysChildalmost 2 years agoI think the story might have had more of an impact if Julie had been a real bitch. Of course, maybe the point was the husband bringing her a final heartache even when he didn't mean to. I'm not sure where a sequel would go with this story. An interesting read, though.
