late bloom.

After a long period of neglect and abuse ~ she finds Someone who accepts and loves her for the qualities long hidden. His strong hands wash away the pain and anguish and her beauty is ever revealed to him. Lovely illustration of bright flowers seems somehow ~ so right.

A very tender compassionate poem, highlighting how some wear a cloak given them by others, that slowly over time becomes an unbearable burden until someone sees through the illusion of that cloak and helps the real person so deeply buried come out and bloom.
