a King or Queen is " Your Majesty "
a prince or princess is " Your Highness "
...
only princes or princesses of the "direct line" ( offspring of the Heir to the throne )
would be obliged to have a public role & be engaged in Royal business.
.
lesser princes & princesses can & do choose any path in life that they so wish
no pressures , no expectations , no requirements..

i liked the start of the story , princess decides to abscond , see & experience the world Anonymously .. however it soon became apparent that the plot is somewhat thin
and poorly researched.

what started out as a romance , descends into teen wank fantasy
I would agree with the previous Anonymous poster, but I would add that the story is shaping up to be very good "teen wank fantasy," and that I therefore fail to see the problem. :P
My only criticism thus far is that Jim is American, yet he uses British rather than American vocabulary on a fairly frequent basis. "Knickers" instead of "panties," to take the first instance that caught my eye in Ch01.
Anyway, I'm going to keep reading. Well done thus far! :)
