Human Hunters vs Vampire Hunters
Thank you for your feedback Maximum. I would like to clarify a few points here for you:
1. The Group known as Hunters (humans) are not the same as the solitary position of a Hunter for the supernaturals. James' friend Michael Gurley is in an appointed position by the Vampires. He is not associated with the Hunters who are looking to exterminate the Lurkers.
2. I never claimed that this was my best work. In fact I am surprised that it is as popular as it is.
3. The Lurker-Caretaker relationship is symbiotic and voulentary. If you recall, all parties that are helping the Ancient One are doing so of their own free will.

Hey, loved your story, though the rape scenes weren't my thing. Curious mythos oddity between a couple of your stories. In vampiress mine, Gabriel is telling James about the first man and woman created by god, and aboutdevine guidance, while in this story lurks mentioned about his species ships causing mass extinction events and wiping out the dinosaurs. Just found it odd to have both evolution and Devine intervention in the same mythology

looking for clarification...
Before I read I want to know exactly what I'll be getting into. The tags state nonconsent and reluctance, but the author states in a later comment that everything is consensual so I am confused.
Simply put, is there rape in this story?
NonCon/Reluctance Scenes
Yes, there are some NonCon/Reluctant scenes in The Creature Below. They happen at various parts. Off the top of my head these places are:
-initially when the creature is desperate to reproduce.
-when two of the characters find themselves in over their heads at a beach owned by the Hunters.
-when the heroine mentally manipulates the hero in order to get ravished.
-during the Hunter scenes towards the end.
I believe the Consentual aspect that you have mentioned was my comment in response as to wether or not the humans are actually slaves to the Creature or not. I apologize if this gave off the wrong impression about certain elements of my story.
On a side note; please do not be afraid to either post usernames or email me questions directly with a return email address if you want answers about my stories. I strive to be professional and enjoy answering questions. I don't bite and I'm not exactly in a position to judge anyone.
